Position Overview
As a Support Teacher, you will assist lead teachers in creating a safe, engaging, and developmentally appropriate learning environment. You’ll support classrooms as needed, help with daily routines, and build positive relationships with children, families, and staff.
Responsibilities
- Assist lead teachers with classroom activities and supervision
- Support children’s learning, social development, and daily routines
- Help maintain a clean, safe, and organized classroom
- Step into different classrooms as needed for coverage and support
- Follow all Primrose School policies, state licensing regulations, and safety procedures
- Communicate professionally with team members and families
Qualifications
- A genuine passion for working with young children
- High school diploma or equivalent (required)
- Previous childcare or early education experience preferred (but not required)
- Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team
- Dependable, flexible, and positive attitude
- Must meet state background check and training requirements
